The City of Port Townsend Washington, the County of Jefferson County, the EPA and the Washington DEQ and Jefferson County Health ALL have allowed the Port Townsend Paper Mill to violate our human rights, constitutional rights and to break the laws of air quality, marine law and to violated the Clean Air Act.

The City of Port Townsend Washington and the County of Jefferson County, along with the EPA and the Washington DEQ have aided and abetted The Port Townsend Paper Mill to poison the air, water and soil of Port Townsend for decades.

So now we have some issue with Toxic Dust? What is this Really About? We all know that the Jefferson County Public health along with the governing bodies listed above, do NOT care about fine particle dust poisoning us all. They do not care about asbestos issues at the Port Townsend Paper Mill. They do not care about toxic, ACID SLUDGE going into our ground water, into the Port Townsend Bay and shipped out to other counties from the Port Townsend Paper Mill. They do not care about 1000 pounds of ammonia in the Port Townsend Air Daily. They do not care about the Acid levels of the Puget Sound or the Carbon Footprint of Port Townsend that affects the world.

The City of Port Townsend Washington, the County of Jefferson County,  the EPA and the Washington DEQ and Jefferson County Health ALL have allowed the Port Townsend Paper Mill to violate our human rights, constitutional rights and to break the laws of air quality, marine law and to violated the Clean Air Act. They choose a GREEDY corporation over the lives of real people.

The 300 jobs at the Port Townsend Paper Mill are 1% of the population of Jefferson County. Many people, companies, and jobs would come here if they were gone. There are artists, writers, healers, farmers and more that make up the REAL population.

So enough with the Greed, the payoffs, the look the other way. SHUT Down the Port Townsend Paper Mill now and STOP violating our right to clean air, clean water, and clean soil.
